Shaftesbury Country Touring Park is a rural, friendly touring park set in the beautiful Dorset countryside, situated on the A30 between Shaftesbury and Sherborne and is close to the picturesque town of Shaftesbury, renowned for Gold Hill which featured in the Hovis advert. There are two park areas, one of which is Lakeview, a 19 acre field which can accommodate the larger caravan or motorhome and of course tents of all sizes and as the name suggests it hosts a fishing lake.
Ramblers Retreat is our camping pod which accommodates 2 people and can be booked direct.
For a little bit of luxury we also have available Little Lodge which accommodates 2 people and can also be booked direct with us.
New this season there is a fully licensed Londis Mini Supermarket 0n site for your everyday essentials.
All this makes for a relaxed family camping holiday and we welcome dogs too.
We are ideally situated near to local attractions including Longleat, Stonehenge, Durdle Door and many more. There are also plenty of walks nearby where you can explore the beautiful rolling Dorset countryside.

Ramblers Retreat is a timber “pod” suitable for couples, Inc. a double sofa bed, light, heater and TV. Decked patio, garden furniture and BBQ.
Take the stress out of camping, no more hassle erecting a tent, or packing away a wet one! Enjoy some luxury camping. (You still need all your camping accessories for your pod experience)
Please Note: Bedding (Duvets, Pillows & Sheets) are not supplied. You have to bring everything you would normally bring for camping just not the tent!

Little Lodge
The perfect place to relax and unwind
Little lodge is a beautifully furnished lodge with a living eco friendly roof, and inside it just oozes charm. It sits overlooking lake view and in the evening you can enjoy sitting on the patio and watching the sunset over the lake.
Suitable for couples. We will provide all bedding and towels. there is also a fridge, microwave, and we will even supply tea and coffee making facilities. So on arrival you can go straight in and relax with a drink and a treat.
Unfortunately we do not allow dogs in the Lodge
